Nathan was looking for one of his stools, and enlisted my help. He usually has one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. The "kitchen stool" wasn't in it's place. It was evening, and the back of the house was dark. I escorted him to his bathroom. No stool. We checked his room. No stool. We checked my bathroom. Voila! He quickly retrieved it and headed down the hall. Following, I asked him what he was going to do with it. He stopped and gave me a why-are-you-asking-me-such-an-obvious-question look. He squinted a little, as if to see if I was ok, and stated matter-of-factly, "I'm gonna stand on it!" The best response I could give was a laughing, "Oh. Ok."
(He was going to help mommy wash the dishes, by the way!)
