Chewing Gum

So Nathan, Evan and I were watching TV tonight and a Dentyne Ice commercial comes on. It's the one where some guy leans in to kiss some girl and they both realize they should brush their teeth first and apparently neither owns a toothbrush and the guy hunts down some gum from some other guy & girl face-sucking in a parked car and... (yeah, I couldn't reach the remote quick enough)... and then "some guy" returns with the gum he got from "some other guy" and he and "some girl's" kiss-a-thon is rescued by the gum.  Now, Evan was playing with Lego's and totally missed the commercial. Nathan watched the whole thing. Now I was watching him. How was I going to approach this teachable moment?  Nathan paused for a second before looking at me and declaring, "Dad! They were CHEWING GUM TOGETHER?!! That's GROSS!" In my wisdom, I responded with a profound, "Yep."
