I'm Tired!

Today was a busy day. Nathan was up early, and very active for most of the day. We had several errands to run with Laura, and toward the end of them Nathan was wiped out. We had gone to the doctor's office for a check-up and listened to the baby's heartbeat - all is well with "Baby Brother", as Nathan calls him. We went to lunch, the bank, the post office, and the park. We then set out for Target and Wal-Mart, at which time Nathan passed out. So, I stayed in the car with him while Laura took care of the errands. He woke up after about an hour, just in time to go to "The Flower Bed" with us for a few seasonal ornamentals. The man gave him a small pumpkin, and Nathan was very pleased with that. (He had been given some blue pansies the day before from a different nursery by our friend who works there. Abdul met us there before Nathan was born, and when he first met Nathan, he was so impressed with his blue eyes that he gave him a "blue daze" plant. Now every time we go, he gives Nathan something blue.) Anyway, we came home and began potting the plants and playing with Nathan in the back yard. One more trip to Home Depot for some additional soil completed our trips for the day, and as darkness fell, we got ready for dinner. Nathan was eating really well (he loves spaghetti) when suddenly, he leaned back in his chair, placed his hands behind his head, let out a sigh and said, "I'm tired!" It was hilarious!
