Nathan attended his very first football game this weekend! It was UL-Lafayette's homecoming and a great time for him to go, since it was an afternoon game. He went with Daddy and "Paw-Paw" and "Nana" Peck. He was well behaved for the whole game, including overtime. He played with a toy bear and some hot wheels cars he brought along, made friends with a couple of boys sitting near us, flirted with some older girls behind us, took a fourth quarter nap on daddy, and clapped and cheered the team to victory. He yelled out a couple of "Go Cajuns!" and "Get 'em!" cheers, and enjoyed the bands. He really liked the half-time performance with the flags and dancers, and didn't seem as amused as most of us by the "flaming" male dancer on the Cajun Jazz dance team. (That was just weird!) He's definitely a fan of football!
