Nathan had asked to have a peppermint and I obliged. Minutes later, he came to me with a small piece of white, twisted material from his mouth and said, "Daddy, I just got a tooth out!" "WHAT? Did he break a tooth on that peppermint?", I thought. I quickly asked if his mouth hurt, as I poked and examined it. Everything looked fine. He smiled and said, "I'm just playing, Daddy - it's just a piece of peppermint!" As he popped it back into his mouth and ran off laughing, I realized there's a practical joker in all Peck Boys, young and old! I'm sure we'll need to stay on our toes, as Evan is already a bigger "ham" than Nathan!
