Nathan did have some excitement when he got his car stuck along the rail. The attendant ran over to help him. Just as he approached Nathan from behind, Nathan turned his wheel the other way just in time to whip his car around and send the attendant jumping over the top of him to avoid being run over!

Nathan and I had a "Daddy and me" day a couple months back, where he and I went by ourselves to Kart Ranch - a local amusement center with go-carts, mini-golf, bumper boats, and an indoor game and play area. Some of my favorite childhood memories are going go-cart riding with my Dad and brother. Nathan enjoyed riding the go-carts with me, and we managed to get a good car (which means we were able to pass people!).
This past week, we went back, and Nathan had his first solo ride! It was in a smaller, age-appropriate, electric car, but he still had fun. The only down side was the lack of competition - I guess weekends and holidays are better for crowds.
