Evan LOVES hats. Maybe it's because Daddy likes to wear hats. Maybe it's because his older cousin Casey likes to wear hats. Maybe it's because big brother Nathan often wears hats. Maybe it's sort of like a "safety blanket" or "comfort toy" - y'know, like some kids have a favorite blankie or teddy or (as in Nathan's case early on) a stuffed goat named, "Billy". Whatever the reason, Evan likes to wear hats. Too small hats, too big hats, just right hats, fitted hats, adjustable hats, paper or plastic hats... though he primarily wears "baseball" type hats. He's even made his own hats out of a cereal or twelve-pack Dr. Pepper box. While Nathan usually wakes up in the morning ready for breakfast, Evan wakes up half the time looking for a hat. He's been known to prefer going to sleep with a hat on. And, he's probably worn his hat to school as often as not. We love our little hat-headed baby boy, but we just don't want him to be bald by 5th grade! (By the way, that's a joke -science has proven that hat-wearing does NOT cause baldness!)

Not to be out-hatted, Nathan makes his own head covering... Scooby Dooby Doooo!
