Evan is much more "physical" at his age than Nathan was. At 5 months, he's extremely active. If he's lying down, he wants to be sitting up. If he's sitting up, he wants to be totally vertical - the higher, the better. He wants to see what's going on, and he wants to get into it! If you're holding him in one arm, make sure whatever you have in the other arm (or anything within reach) is safe for him to grab hold of. He doesn't ask. He doesn't casually reach for things. He lashes out fast and furious, intensely gripping anything and everything he can (and usually pulling it to his mouth). I know this is what babies do. It's just that he's fast as lightning (like Kung-Fu fighting)! Nathan is going to have to be careful engaging Evan in combat in the days/years ahead. Nathan is bigger, but Evan is quicker!
