Hands-On

Nathan is very hands-on... computer, radio, CD's, tools. He likes to take things apart and re-build them... flashlights, toys, bouncy seat. The other day, he helped wash some bottles and breast pump parts. I took them apart and washed. He rinsed and put things in the drying rack. After cleaning the pump-related parts, we were working on some feeding bottles but Nathan was letting them pile up. I looked over, and he had not just placed the pump parts in the rack, but he had re-assembled them! Correctly. Next week, I'm having him replace the rear main seal on the blazer. (Boy, am I gonna save some dough with this kid!)
