The boys' school had a Mardi Gras parade in their parking lot on Fat Friday (the Friday before Mardi Gras - Fat Tuesday). They had little four-wheeler-drawn "floats" for the little kids to ride on and the bigger kids were able to bring their trikes, bikes and ride-ons. Nathan wanted to bring his trike instead of his Mustang, so we wrapped some Mardi Garland around it and let him rip. We're not really into the whole Mardi Gras thing, but it was cute watching the boys and their friends throw beads to all the parents gathered 'round the parking lot. Below are a few pics of their plunder. The pics are at home, because Daddy forgot to bring the camera to the parade!
