End of An Era

Ok, so it's not necessarily an "era" in the traditional sense, but it is a milestone for Evan! There was a bag with a note on it, left in his "cubby" on Tuesday at the daycare. The bag was full of unused pull-up/training diapers. The note read, "Evan doesn't need these any more, so we're sending them home." YYYYAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!!! We've been working on his potty training for a while, and he's been urinating in the toilet regularly - both sitting and standing (oh, what fun that can be!). The problem has been that he just wouldn't poop on the pot! So, we asked if the bag and note meant he'd finally crossed that threshold. Nope. But, he's really doing well at not having accidents and he's so proud of his Lightning McQueen underwear assortment, that we couldn't get a pull-up on him if we wanted to. He's still using a diaper to sleep at night, but that's it. So, what about the poop? Well, it's been two days since the poop hit the... So, we think he's holding it. We just hope the impending release is over a toilet somewhere!
